SOZO

Saved, healed, delivered — walking in freedom, not just forgiveness. Whole-hearted wholeness with Jesus.

SOZO is the Greek word for saved, healed, delivered — made whole. It’s a gentle, Spirit-led, confidential ministry where we sit with Holy Spirit and Father to uncover lies, heal wounds, and replace them with truth. Not counselling. Not fixing. Jesus encountering you where you’re stuck.

At Real Life Church, SOZO is core to how we display His glory — whole-hearted disciples who are free, not just forgiven. Many of us have done SOZO and keep walking in freedom because of it.

SOZO is not counselling, deliverance ministry, or a quick fix. It’s a time to encounter Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit — hearing truth where you’ve believed lies. We use simple tools (Father Ladder, Four Doors, Presenting Jesus, etc.) to help you connect with God for yourself. He does the healing — we host presence and walk with you.

What Happens in a SOZO

Welcome Tea, settle, share why you came. Confidential, no judgement. What’s feeling stuck? What do you want freedom in? We pray and invite Holy Spirit.

Encounter & Tools Led gently by facilitators — we ask Holy Spirit to show lies, wounds, doors opened, and Father’s truth. Tools like Father Ladder (how you see Father), Four Doors (fear, hatred, sexual sin, occult), Walls, etc. You hear God for yourself — we don’t tell you what to hear.

Truth & Closing Replacing lies with truth, closing doors, breaking agreements, receiving Father’s blessing. You’ll leave with written truths / next steps to walk out freedom in daily life — wholeness, not just moment.

Safe, Confidential, Spirit-Led

All SOZO facilitators are trained through Bethel SOZO, screened, and operate under pastoral oversight. Everything shared stays confidential. We have a safeguarding policy, same-gender team where possible, you can bring a trusted friend to wait outside, and you can stop anytime. We don’t diagnose or give medical / counselling advice — we host encounter with Jesus who heals.

SOZO is free — it’s family ministry. We do receive voluntary contributions towards hosting if you’re able, but no one is turned away.
